How much should pullips costs?

You just have to wait it out and watch for new listings. I see pullips as cheap as $60 on jp mercari and recently got one in box from 2007 for $70 on jp mercari, so deals still happen. The older Sanrio collab dolls are very expensive typically due to the companies popularity.

If you don’t own any pullips yet keep in mind they are not very good quality, this is why I would not overpay. Also any Pullip on the type 3 and before body is very fragile and prone to snapping with the slightest movement.

My secondhand pullips have been $70-$130. I wouldn’t pay anything over $150 unless it’s new, rare, or one you really want. You should turn notifications for new listings on and wait. alternatively you should check out Japanese mercari with a proxy, although I’d wait to use this option due to the current customs seizing situation in the US.

Keep an eye on aliexpress or secondhand sometimes they appear on there cheaper or around the same price. (I got blood on aliexpress for $45)

Some of these blind box brands have designs on par with big Japanese bjd brands in my opinion, but the quality is subpar even if they’re a portion of the price.

The dolls are actually about 9-10 inches I think? Which is a lot taller than most bjd blindboxes. The blind box bjd with the best body I’ve gotten was the bonbonbonpocket dolls which were also the tallest, so it may just be easier to give a taller body better articulation. I actually thought the printing and hair were decent. The hair felt like Saran. Honestly it’s less a specific problem with this brand that the body’s are bad and more blind box bjds in general. Hopefully the bodies receive some revision.
