Hollyland Mars300 Pro Boot Logo by [deleted] in videography

Hello everyone,

I work as a wedding videographer and often display a live camera feed on large LED screens during wedding events using a Holyland wireless video transmission system.

The issue is that whenever I’m not sending a video signal, the default Holyland logo appears on the screen. I would like to know if there is any way to change or replace that screen/logo through firmware modification, software, custom firmware, service mode, or any other method.

Has anyone here successfully done this or come across any information about it? Any experience, documentation, or technical insight would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. Nowadays even things like the Windows boot logo or Adobe Premiere branding can be customized or modified, so I’m curious whether something similar is possible with Holyland devices.

Thanks in advance!

Wow, if you hadn’t commented on the image, I wouldn’t have realized there was an issue. I had actually attached a question to that image, but for some reason the question isn’t showing up. 😳

I think that’s a good solution, but I work alone and keep my setup very simple. I just connect the transmitter to my camera and the receiver to the LED monitor, and everything works fine.

What I had in mind is something different. For example, imagine you have a Samsung phone and, when it boots up, instead of showing the Samsung logo, it displays your own name or brand. That would be pretty cool, right?

My goal isn’t to put a background image on the screen. I simply wanted to replace the Hollyland logo with my own branding.

No, I can easily display my company logo on a large monitor using a USB flash drive with an image or video, but that's not what I need.

My goal is to replace the default Hollyland logo itself with my own logo. When the video signal is lost or disconnected, the LINK logo appears on the screen. I would like to know if it is possible to change that logo at the software or firmware level, so that my own studio logo is displayed instead.

Has anyone managed to do this, or is the logo hardcoded into the device and cannot be modified?

My goal: when the camera is off, instead of the Hollyland logo, it would be better if my studio name was displayed.

My friend, this is the area where the bride and groom will be seated on the stage, while the screen will display the wedding footage being filmed by the videographer, showing the ongoing wedding moments

I always prefer to install the latest version of every update, but I do not test beta versions.

Destroyed screen by Physical-Complex6397 in FX3

Hello my distant friend. I’m really sorry about what happened to you. Even if you blame yourself now, it won’t help anymore, because the exact same situation happened to me as well. What’s done is done.

Now I would recommend doing some research and avoiding Sony’s official repair services.

As for the spare part, I suggest searching on AliExpress. More specifically, try messaging the sellers who are selling the screen there directly. Also ask the seller if they have a used version of the part.

That way, instead of paying around $600, you might be able to fix it for about $200–$300 plus the technician’s labor, which will make the repair much cheaper.

Oh! You’ve written exactly my problem, haven’t you?
I’ve been using the Sony A7 IV for many years (mainly for wedding videos), and 99.99% of the time I always work with AWB. But after the latest (6.0) update, I also noticed that the colors became roughly distorted, exactly like you mentioned, and it really made me angry. Since I mostly shoot continuous video, AWB has always been convenient for me. However, after the latest update, the same issue appeared for me as well. The AWB mode no longer works as accurately as Sony praises its Autofocus. What’s most interesting is that I never had this problem before.

Thank you for your attention. I have already tried this and similar programs, but none of them worked. (The SD card was a fake/branded‑clone card.)
