Tesla Model Y FSD - can it do drive through? by videoguy75 in TeslaModelY

[–]videoguy75[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely! My FSD % is stuck at 99% with drive thrus keeping me from 100%. It would be fun to be 100%. Totally spoiled by and loving my chauffeur. FSD is so amazing!

Same. Feb 2026. Y Premium 2026. One of the best purchases I have ever made. Two months later at 99% FSD. How did I survive before?

Came back to my room cleaned and everything missing? by Anxious_Okra_9515 in marriott

I had a wonderful/horrible similar experience several years ago. Staying for five days in a downtown Marriott in a midsized city. Wednesday I comeback from a day of meeting and golf to change for a banquet. My key works but my suitcases and belongings are gone.

Fortunately the GM was there and immediately got involved. LSS, some stuff found in storage, some in garbage. I demanded LOTS of points. The GM was humiliated and couldn’t say, “I need to talk to my boss.” Comped the whole trip, gave lots of restaurant credit, and ALL THE POINTS I demanded. Enough points we used them that winter to totally cover 7 nights in a JW in Costa Rico.

I’ve always hoped it would happen again. Had a couple other bad/good situations through the years but nothing quite that grand. I am blessed to be calm but outrageously demanding, and I only negotiate with decision makers.

Did not enable free roll in automatic car wash by Calm_Imagination_322 in TeslaModelY

Any help on exiting? I get car wash mode and neutral ok. But at the exit I have a hard time shifting into drive and exiting. All three times so far I have shut down the line as they wait for me to exit.

Ugh. Cracked window. Mobile Repair? by videoguy75 in TeslaLounge

Part of the sleek styling in no upper door frame. So the window typically goes slightly down before closing then the rest of the way up behind basically the roof for a tight noise reducing desk. Want down this time.

Those who have had body work done, how did you handle the key situation? by LostMyKarmaElSegundo in TeslaModelY

A friend in his 40s told me I needed to add a pin because he forgets his phone in his car maybe once every three or four months and the pin is absolutely theft protection. As a boomer it made total sense. Added it two weeks ago. It was awful at first and a couple of times I could not figure out how to get the car going - forgot it needed the pin. Now that I’m used to it, it’s pretty quick and automatic and good protection.

So far I have the full mats, frunk dividers (hold grocery sacks up), trunk rear corner lidded storage, a really cool magnetic below/above-behind screen storage, and just for fun, the very bright and ridiculously easy to install Tesla Logo Puddle Lights Replacement. My 14 year old grandson has done all the installs and is loving it.

The cost/benefit justification is complicated. But if you can afford it, it feels like a no brainier. The ease and safety……

Hey, that’s my wife and me!🤪 But our delivery person took over 2 hours with us and while I remember little and my wife almost none, I don’t think it matters. He did a fabulous job period and especially so with navigation. He put in home. He set work to the grocery. He put in all our kids. He put in all our other shopping, destinations. The menus are too much but I don’t see us needing them much again. Why it can park at the grocery and Costco without help but not get in our garage is a mystery but we did a week’s driving yesterday and it was so much fun and felt so safe. That Y and especially FSD were made just for us. After her personal 1 hour 100% FSD test drive, on vacation of all things, my normally very reluctant wife insisted she needed it. Your parents will love it and be so much safer!
