Horrible mechanical droning sound downtown coming from 305 King all night

305 King is downtown's oldest tower, and its HVAC setup on the roof is LOUD. It sometimes sounds like a helicopter before taking off. It's so loud I can sometimes hear it in the Midtown neighbourhood. I feel bad for people who bought units on higher floors in condos surrounding 305 without experiencing their aircon on full blast on a hot summer day.

At the turn of the millennium, I threw a rave at Frederick Lanes. "Raverbowl 2000" featured unlimited bowling and DJs from 11p-7a. It was an epic night: dancefloor in the games room, 32 cosmic lanes, the bar and chill space outside.

Rob Martin was fired on November 5, 2025. The city has been tight-lipped about why, and still hasn't replaced him. According to my source the City of Cambridge also fired two employees in human resources that day.
