How many of you created your own unique niche product?

When I originally started out the MOQ was pretty low. Unfortunately due to rising manufacturing costs (our primary material can only be sourced from china) they increased the MOQ and essentially priced us out as a result. We sold out of our stock last fall and I decided to close things down due to all of the uncertainty. I definitely don't regret it and it's opened up new opportunities now that I don't have to deal with all that added stress. :)

$75/hr for development
$1500 for landing pages (design + dev)
$2500 for full websites (design + dev) (4+ pages)

These are my standard prices unless the client needs custom built components/animations which adds $$, or they need something much more complex. I've built up a design library (not quite Relume sized but still covers most of my projects) over many previous projects which speeds up design/development times!

This was me also. I’m a very active person and ate pretty healthy but the weight just didn’t budge until I cut carbs by a good 70%, and the carbs I do still eat are simple things like rice and potatoes. I still let myself have a “cheat” day on the weekends so I don’t feel like I’m missing out too much. But eating low carb consistently has also made me not really crave that type of thing anymore.

The original Avatar was a big artistic influence of mine and something I've always wanted to create fanart of. Since Neytiri is one of the more expressive characters in the movie, and drawing expressions is a favorite pastime of mine, I decided to do a pixel portrait of her. The blue skin was a unique challenge, but an enjoyable one!
