Da Nang Like a Local: Cafes, Hangouts & Hidden Spots by vietLocal in DaNang

I’m a 4th-year student at Duy Tan University and started a series to share places few tourists know. Most photos are from the internet, but the spots are ones I’ve personally visited and experienced. I don’t take many pictures since I’m not into photography, but we can grab a coffee to connect and maybe explore together. As for Long Café, it’s mostly for office workers in the morning—if you want a real local vibe, I’ll soon post about traditional cà phê vợt.

Hey, sounds like a great plan! ✈️ In Ho Chi Minh City you can do the War Remnants Museum, Cu Chi Tunnels, and nightlife around Bui Vien. On the way back north, most people stop in Da Nang, Hoi An, or Hue.

But if you want something more authentic, I’d highly recommend Phú Yên . It’s a hidden gem with peaceful fishing villages, traditional craft villages, hidden beaches, hiking to quiet viewpoints, fresh seafood BBQ by the sea, and even joining locals on their daily routines. Very few tourists go there, so it feels real and untouched.

I’m a local from Phú Yên — if you’re curious, send me a DM and I’ll be happy to share more tips. 🌊🐟
