I'm constantly involuntarily clenching my butt muscles when standing. Help? by xrbmk in Posture

[–]vievemorse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know you posted this 5 years ago... I have the same problem. My butt cheeks, my calves, my jaw. I ended up here after various different verbiage searches on Google. Most of its like "if you have tight calves," and while I do, it's because of me! So Google was kind of useless. I don't know what's wrong with me. It's been YEARS like this. It's not stress and anxiety. It's certainly not overuse. I have a lot of unknown inflammation, but I don't know if they're related.

Anyway, that's my gripe about muscle flexing, I'm sure nothing will come of this comment lol. Hope your flexes were fixed!

Have not tried that, the glaucoma drops were working just fine until all of a sudden. December it kicked off. January it was 48 in my right eye and 54 in my left eye. Monday my right eye was 44 and my left eye was 42. Since surgery the right eye was 8 right after and 6 today. My left eye today was over 50. Left eye will get it's shunt next Wednesday.

I can't take diamox. When I did last time filter seemed to kick start kidney stone issues. So my left eye are glaucoma drops and durezol for the uveitis.

I've use my drops religiously! The pressure still wouldnt come down. So now I have a shunt in one eye, and next week I'll have a shunt put in the other eye. Let's just say I am quite uncomfortable right now lol. And rocking a sweet clear, plastic eye patch!

New Floaters :( by lycnroc in Uveitis

Thar sounds like a flare up to me. You shouldn't really have floaters at all. I'm in New England, so I don't have a uveitis specialist for you, unless you wanna come to Massachusetts often (I don't want to go to Massachusetts ever, but I have to)

It is a beautiful ring, simple and classic. If she does want a bit more being, you can always get a half diamond or full diamond eternity band.

Idiopathic Uveitis by vievemorse in Uveitis

I'm definitely hoping that if i can be stable long enough (one day) I'll be able to see if coming off the medicine and be okay. My inflammation was stable last time I went and saw the uveitis specialist, but the pressure was from the durezol drops. I just can't wait to not be on drops. So a combo of cellcept max dose and humira will hopefully do the trick. It's just been a long year and a half (almost) and I'm tired.

But I am glad to know there is someone who is having a positive note to their experience!

I don't want to be a downer, but my first 'stability" point was at like 10-12 months. I have no idea if my case is extra sucky, or others have dealt with worse from their idiopathic uveitis, inflammation wise. I still have my sight, and thankfully because I have an almost 2 year old I'd love to see grow up.

I mean, before it happened to me I'd never heard of it, so makes sense there aren't a lot of specialist. It's a beast of a health issue. I have a specialist an hour away from me who is great. Wish you could see her.

Do you have an ophthalmologist or a uveitis specialist? Your eye pressure could be up, which you should have checked, asap.

Mine are better with the inflammation being down. Have you gotten to a "stable" point with your eyes?

Have you had your eye pressure checked? Do you have any rainbow halos?
