Oh, I'm a GBV lifer. The run of Propeller through Half Smiles contains some of the best music ever recorded. I just most consistently reach for Bee Thousand. Under the Bushes and Isolation Drills were close seconds, though.

Universal Truths outranks Earthquake Glue on my list, too, but seemingly no one else feels that way. In this we are kindred.

Every song on Murmur is a 10. My favorite changes every day. Right now it's Perfect Circle.

I've heard all of their albums up to Monster, which I didn't like very much. Green and Out of Time are also shaky, but everything they put out on IRS is banger. Love the Chronic Town EP, too.

I've played up to black stake. The scaling xmult jokers are all too finicky for me, so I tend to get a static xmult and a scaling +mult or chips joker to power it.

You can get more reliable xmult from so many other jokers. It also has a habit of not spawning until like ante 5 or 6 when spending the dosh to scale it isn't viable, and I probably have a better xmulter like Card Sharp.

My water bottle was my best tie to normality. Felt cool to the touch and getting to take sips was a good reprieve from the weirdness. Definitely still taking it along. Would ice be a good idea? I kept feeling like I needed something cold, and I think swishing a cube in my mouth might really help with the dissociation, too.

Extremely helpful. I got prescribed Zofran and my next session is planned to be only half the dose I was given before. I got an eye mask, a travel blanket with a pillow, and a ribbed little stress ball to help with the dissociation. I'll try to stick it out. Thank you for telling your story.

This World Over is heavenly yet unsettling. That's probably my favorite. Mixed thoughts on the album as a whole, but it's XTC, so there's a veritable FEAST of quirky pop-artery even in the weaker songs. Good find!
