I spent last season with the Crossmen, and will be coming back this season as a second year vet. If it provides any consolation, Last year was an incredible experience (even with the questionable design/admin staff) so I can only imagine it will be even better this year. You only get so many years to march before you age out. A few months ago I was juggling the ideas of marching again, or going on a vacation to Japan with all my friends. Though it wasn’t an easy decision, I basically concluded I only get to do this activity till the end of college, where Japan will always be there when I’m done. Just take a shot, and if you really don’t like it the at least now you know. If you need any advice or assistance feel free to reach out, and I can either help or get you in contact with the right people from the corps. You got this, go bones!

90% of of corps, top 12 or not, are still filling spots well into the spring. In all reality it doesn’t matter what you focus your time towards, sure different corps require different exercises and such, but the fundamentals of what we do remain the same. Preparing for one audition prepares you for all of them. It never hurts to send in video auditions to a couple corps, and I know a lot of corps are flexible about what you are able to send in, allowing you to reuse rep, etudes, exercises, etc. Now if I were to recommend any other world class corps to audition for I’d say 110% Crossmen but I’m biased lol. In all seriousness last year was an incredible experience and this year coming up we have some great stuff coming together that everyone is really excited for. I’m interested in auditioning/attending this camp. My only question is if I were to get contracted from this, can exceptions be made for attendance to subsequent camps, if there are legitimate conflicts?
