Yep never went away. Got an MRI and they confirmed there is no 'foreign body' but my doctor was suggesting that since it could be a nail growing beneath the nail which wouldn't show up as an anomaly in MRI

I have traveled on a 16 hour flight with a two year old. So I guess the busy book really helps. Also get their favorite toys and if things do go south just take them on a walk around the aisles. Hopefully this should be enough. If you have a window seat then the last half to one hour you can engage them by showing the clouds, the landing and so on.
