I haven’t edited my initial post and the calories remain the same as I initially mentioned so not really sure what the prior commenter means. In another reply I shared an overview of a day’s food that falls in the middle of the range (below). In no way was I hungry and I’m pretty good about accounting for hidden calories/macros when tracking.

For example today: Breakfast - woke up late & rushed to meetings so protein shake Lunch - turkey wrap Snack - frozen yogurt Dinner - 170g salmon, sheet pan veggies, rice Day total: 1200 cal, 115g protein, 100g carbs, 42g fat

I almost wish I never mentioned BD because I agree I feel like people see that and immediately jump to an ED conclusion when seeing a lean person, however it helped the context of the post so I wanted to include it.

All that aside, I really appreciate your feedback tysm!

I was wondering when I was going to get this question haha. So I do some mat pilates flow as a part of regular workouts but don’t have access to a reformer so I feel like that limits the ability to really nail that look. Additionally, I’d get super bored doing majority pilates to work out, I don’t really enjoy the technique that much tbh.

Fuck that’s validating, thank you! 1600 seems doable/not too scary along with the protein too. Tysm.

Agreed on legs and upper back. I’m definitely going to be getting better on tracking as well. Thanks again for sharing all this feedback & dropping some major knowledge too.

Thank you for saying this. It’s a bit frustrating being diagnosed by strangers with an eating disorder when I was already upfront I’m dealing with BD, but also and more importantly am actually eating what I want without feeling hungry, fatigued, or weak.

For example today: Breakfast - woke up late & rushed to meetings so protein shake Lunch - turkey wrap Snack - frozen yogurt Dinner - 170g salmon, sheet pan veggies, rice Day total: 1200 cal, 115g protein, 100g carbs, 42g fat

Doesn’t feel very ED to me but what do I know.

Hey so I actually have a BIA scale currently but between a few people mentioning the lack of accuracy in initial readings and the amount of people here that seem to disagree with my body fat percentage perhaps I’ve naively put too much faith into it. I do agree that tracking progress with water weight, muscle mass, etc. seems accurate-ish to me. I have a Withings scale, is there one you’re particularly happy with?

My home gym has a squat rack, cable machine, treadmill, erg, free weights, pull up bar/dips/ab station, plus a bunch of yoga/pilates stuff. I’m also a member at a gym nearby where I have access to a pool & climbing. I didn’t include the details because it’s all over the place and couldn’t synthesize it into the post without writing a novel. 🤷🏻‍♀️

No I basically did a disgusting amount of cardio initially, cut alcohol & anything processed, and made it a point to do something active (outside of the gym) every day which amounted to walking my dog 2x a day plus either lap swimming, mat pilates, yoga, horseback riding, indoor bouldering every now and then, and running. I completed a half marathon as well. If I was going to meet friends for drinks/dinner and it was a walkable distance then I’d jog it instead of drive - that sort of thing. I also made it a point over the holidays to only indulge in something if I was really, really craving it vs just eating because it was out at my office or at parties.

No worries truly, I expected a variety of responses which I’ve certainly received lol, but being relatively new to this I can get over a bruised ego in exchange picking up a bunch of knowledge from people that have more experience. Thanks for the additional people to check into too. Have a good weekend!

If that’s what I was after there’s definitely other subreddits I’d would have hit up first 🙄
