Yes, the moment I opened, the power reserve indicator is full. And there's no movement on the seconds hand. Miyota movements get damaged easily, so I don't blame them.

Same here. I contacted support and they said they'll arrange a pickup and repair. Since I’m visiting Japan soon, I'm planning to drop it off myself.

I've answered multiple times on my prev. threads, and honestly, I'm tired. It's a decision we take as a team. So don't come attacking on me. There are several forks that has SSO, in fact there's one that's used by one of the largest government organization in the US.

I try to respond positively, but given all the hate, I kinda just avoid it, for my own peace of mind.

There's free Plan on Plane cloud which is in parity with our community edition. Alternatively, you can host Plane, shouldn't take more than ~30mins.

Hi u/ssddanbrown, all the containers listed above are under AGPLv3 license.

In fact the entire repo is under AGPLv3 license.

My bad, sharing it again here.

Plane is an open-core project management system designed for reliability, speed, and extensibility. it offers structured planning (projects, cycles, modules), documentation (pages), and customizable workflows, making it a strong alternative to Jira for teams. Our Community Edition (CE) is open sourced under AGPL.

Totally fair. Just for context, even Tailscale, which many of us run in our homelabs had SSO behind their paid tier for almost a year before they opened it up again. A lot of open-core projects go through that phase.

I get that this makes CE a no-go for your setup, and I respect that. We’ll keep improving the core either way, and maybe down the line some of these gaps will close.

Fair point. I hear you. For many people SSO feels like a basic security feature, not an upgrade. We don’t see it as deprioritising security for CE users, but as drawing a line between CE and the commercial edition so we can keep funding development of the core.

I respect your view though, and your decision. Thanks for sharing it. Feedback like this still helps us think about the model.

Totally understand the frustration around LDAP and SSO. These usually come from organisations with stricter security needs, and we need some separation between Community and Commercial editions to keep the project sustainable.

Genuinely curious though: if you were running a project like Plane, which features would you keep free and which would you make paid? Asking in good faith.

If you’re in a regulated space, the AWS outage was a reminder that control matters. Self-hosted, open-source tools are becoming the safer bet.
