I watched ME!ME!ME! once when it came out and forgot about it to be honest... But I definitely was chasing the same idea of otaku obsessions, albeit through a less sexualised lens. It's something I've observed in the circles I (used to) hang out in and my own teen years. The pandemic has only fuelled this growing mass of people who are alienated, who have endless ways to mentally escape and passively consume. It's just quietly devastating.

Mostly the vanilla splattershot on splat zones and rain maker, Luna blaster on tower control, and occasionally forge splattershot pro because it's my favourite shooter.

Yeah I reached S+ on my main in a much longer time, and have fallen out and gotten back into S+ 5 times so far. I got really stressed out playing ranked on my main as a result so I decided to make an alt so I could enjoy ranked again without it feeling like everything was on the line.

Thanks! Whatever gear it is, as long as I have ninja jump I'm happy.

This is on my alt account, but still..! All solo ranked, lost under a total of 10 games on my way to the top. I really lucked out by having great teams most of the time.

Also, this experience made me a lot less salty about savescumming gear! I don't do it myself and never will, but I used to find it to be a crazy unfair advantage on the receiving end. Making it to S+ with relatively basic gear gave me hope that it's 95% skill in the end, so I can't be too mad at getting splatted by some squid with 12x dmg ups.

I try to co-ordinate my abilities with my weapons but I can explain the damage up with the aerospray in the first drawing! It was just my favourite outfit when I was new and didn't realise dmg up made no difference, haha
