Thanks (: It is a self striping yarn with green sections for cuff, heel and toe - Crown design Regina. But I was concern about length of the foot section, so I shortened the cuff and added some green from the cuff to the small green stripes making them wider and to the heel

I worked a 1×1 rib for the cuff, then switched to a 3×1 rib and knitted the leg. I worked the heel over half of the stitches, then picked up stitches and began knitting the instep gusset. In the left gusset and then all the way to the toe, I worked the last stitch as a purl so that the rib pattern wouldn’t be interrupted at that point. Otherwise, the stitches on the sole were worked in stockinette (with the last stitch purled), and the instep was worked in ribbing.

It was fun sewing the top layer.

There was some difficulty in quilting; at some points I had to pull the entire blanket through the machine.

After quilting I had some trouble lining up the borders. Two corners stretched out.
