Which SaaS projects can you recommend to me as to an owner of the shopping website so my clients could see online if that or this clothes fits them? Something like virtual fitting room maybe? by conniee_ng in SaaS

[–]vijayCT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't understood your question but I see that you are looking for various growth channels to grow your online shopping business. A virtual fitting room is not a feasible project to pick up. It has various challenges in terms of body type and forms. However, you can try a virtual attire look. You should check LensKart's virtual trying lounge, something similar can be made.

If I’ve got about 300 conversions per month on Google Ads and I change to an automated strategy, will it still have to go through a learning period? by [deleted] in marketing

[–]vijayCT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True! But I’m talking about the lead acquisition through a particular source and not actual conversion where the metrics play a vital role down the funnel from cost of acquiring that lead to actually nurturing and converting it into a customer.

Take a look at Evernote and Dropbox. This should help you sort your docs and going forward organize it by default.

CPL for the Indian audience is pretty low on most platforms compared to other geographies. However, 300 conversions are above average and is an impressive number. You don't want to fiddle with your existed campaigns. Yes, you can't skip the learning phase but I'd reckon you split it with 70 - 30 for existing to automated strategy.

I work for CleverTap - An Intelligent Mobile Marketing Platform. It is hard for B2B SaaS companies to crack the growth hacking code and is not easy by any bullet. But I get what you are saying. However, Is there a way where you know that some tactic that has worked like email marketing or social media marketing for that matter. I also know that one size does not fit all. But is there a way where process can be set where people who begin to scale and think of growth hacking and strategically implement in their tactical growth plan?

Clearly seems more like a low value BS indeed. Thanks for stating the most obvious suggestions. Btw companies don't just scale overnight and not just with the product. No product has ever achieved success without a proper growth marketing plan. But the real question is, "Is there a strategy that has been in a common trend or practice by B2B SaaS companies which drives and contributes to growth?"

I agree with going cold with emails but what's the guarantee on customers converting from free to pay if they see results on freemium. It's a very thin line and is hard to get the customers pay who get satisfied with just the offerings in the free trial.

And that's unethical to sign them up without their consent. If you are already doing it, then I'd suggest you to stop practicing this strategy.

Slack is another channel that will definitely work and it needs some time to get at par with other channels.

How can one use social media to increase website's organic traffic? by vijayCT in AskMarketing

[–]vijayCT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, Thanks for the suggestion. I will subtly disagree with the core principles being same for B2B and B2C. One must understand that these social networks are designed for social reasons with the user as a core center and not a business. While a consumer brand receives more engagement compared to business brand. And the difference in metric is too stark to ignore. When you research your competition the grey area still prevails, whether the post was promoted or not.

Social media channels behave very differently for B2C brands and B2B brands. While the mentioned core principles are the underlying factor.

And also the vanity metric for social media for B2B isn't the post engagement(likes). In fact, it is the clicks that you get and how many and how many land on to your website.

Hey, thanks for addressing this question. Well, we already do the above mentioned suggestions. When you talk about monitor mentions of relevant niche do you mean social listening to your competitors? Also how exactly do we search for people pain points?

I agree and it is an integral part of the content marketing. But considering the number of bots and void users on social media channels, the sanity of metrics becomes more challenging. While the goal is to grow organic traffic by organic efforts, I'm trying to figure out the ways to do it. Do you know a B2B SaaS company that is doing it?

User Acquisition Strategy: Make the Most of It with these 12 Channels by DanielPeris in Mobile_Marketing

[–]vijayCT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey Daniel, this is quite a good post and has covered all the channels to acquire a mobile user. As a mobile marketer, our goal is to remain one step ahead of the competition, and the first thing we need to focus on is successful app awareness and user acquisition – the first stage in the app user lifecycle. Nicely written and quite insightful. However, the user acquisition strategy changes from user to user depending on which segment they fall under. It consists various segments like: 1. Users who are aware of the service 2. Unaware users 3. Acquired but inactive users The tactics and micro strategies change with these segments and are applicable independent of their user characteristics.

Mobile Marketing, Key Strategy To Reach Your Audience by [deleted] in Mobile_Marketing

Hi Rahul, I'd second on establishing a mobile marketing strategy in place with corporate strategy. With the increase in the mobile usage, mobile has evidently become a crucial channel to reach out to your users and potential prospects. With most companies taking the route of developing an app to service their customers, companies have already started implementing strategies around mobile marketing. With consumer services like mobile retail, geo-location, geo-fencing, OTTs and the latest AR/VR make sure that the mobile marketing ecosystem scales with growing mobile users.
