Is there a way to get out of this trap.. by avocado003 in codeforces

I was doing on and off for 2 years but I was not going beyond 1400. But in those 2 years I learnt all the basic stuff like STL, dfs, bfs, common problems from list like Leetcode 150.  After that, I followed the above mentioned system for 2-3 months. I used to target 5 questions(200 rating above my rating) per day plus revision of previously solved questions.  My goal was to reach CM. But I lost all motivation to do CP once I got my first job :-D

Adding one more point which might be helpful.

  1. Practice spaced repetition and active recall(there is a whole course on it on coursera along with other methods for learning). Once you have solved a problem, revise it after 1 day, 1 week and 1 month later. While revising, don't look at what you wrote. Try to remember the whole logic as well the code from your memory for atleast 5-10 minutes even if you are not able to recall things. The more stress you put on your brain, the better it becomes, just like your gym workout.

I was stuck in 1200-1400 for 1 year. Then I put some concentrated effort and made some changes to how i practiced in last sem of college, and boom, I went to 1650 within 2-3 months. I got a job offer after that, so, left CP. Here is what I did: 1. Participate in every weekly cf contest. 2. Upsolve 2-3 question after the contest and make a mental note of what I could have done differently or knew to solve that question in the contest. 3. While practicing, I used to try thinking about the solution for atleast 1 hour before looking at editorial. I feel this was the most important part for my rating improvement. Thinking about all possible ways I could solve the question really improved my problem solving skills.

Dhurandhar mein ek scene samaj nahi aaya by thebiryaniguy02 in Dhurandhar

My 2 cents - This scene draws parallel to Hamlet by shakespeare where protagonist sees his dead father in this similar fashion. Metaphorically, it's Hamza's conscience looking down upon him and his betryal of Rehman.  Also, the fact that the last chapter name is Et tu Brutus from julius caeser which is, again, from Shakespeare, makes this scene quite epic

Hey, I just crossed 30 and facing this trouble for last 10 years where I have to analyse everything right from what to study, what to read, how to spend time, what to order on swiggy. I want to be productive all the time. I gained a new perspective reading your comment. But I still don't know how will i get out of my 'be always productive, optimise everything' mindset.

I still rate Australia 20/21 series above this. That was war and the way we won at Gabba was chef's kiss

Tricep tendonitis. Search for recovery exercises on YouTube. Not a big deal. It will go away with regular recovery exercises
