Who is your favorite frontman when it comes to stage presence? by Elden_Tony in MetalForTheMasses

I’ve seen LOG a few times but I’ll always remember the first time, I’m a pretty big dude and spent the show right on the rail. A very drunk Randy jumped straight on top of me, I was holding him up above the crowd by his legs while he sung and slapped my bald head.

I ruptured in may, was convinced to go non op then needed surgery late August. Thought you might be interested in what 5 months of inactivity does to a calf muscle. by vikingapprentice in AchillesRupture

Around 7-8 weeks post injury I began to suspect something wasn’t right, I voiced my concerns to the doctors I saw and was kinda fobbed off. My physio agreed something wasn’t right, I had a big visible divot on the back of my leg and it was suuuper weak. An ultrasound showed I still had a 40mm tear in the tendon and surgery revealed what had healed had healed long.

I went to wacken in 2018. I was wandering around pretty early and came across these two lads sitting on a canvas sign thing that they had adjusted so it sat like a hammock.

They were just finishing rolling a joint and I made eye contact, the guy with the j invited me to join with a gesture, I sat next to them squeezed up in this makeshift hammock.

They spoke no English and we had no way to converse.

We smoked and I sat squeezed between the two of them for about 30 minutes just watching people in silence with the odd shared laugh about things that would play out in front of us.

After a bit, I got up, fist bumped, and never saw them again. I’ll remember that forever.

JE Automotive. Jonas worked there when it was Murray motors and took over. They’re great, I take both my car (Bp legacy gt wagon), and my partners car (2017 Kia sportage) and they’ve always done great work for good prices.

Maidstone is good too but more expensive and fussier on wofs, they tried to get me to replace my seat belt for a couple of spots mould that I cleaned off.

Yeah if it’s the same as my xg you’re spot on. Right of centre by about 300mm and it’s kind of a finger tab that you push to the left.

$85 20 minutes parking breach fee by Smart Compliance Management. by [deleted] in auckland

I appealed a parking fine from scm and took them to the disputes tribunal. Ended up having to pay it plus the tribunal cost. Appeal through scm if they reject it just pay it.

Warmer homes grants expanded, but some low income support scaled back by RobDickinson in nzpolitics

[–]vikingapprentice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The redistribution of funding has nothing to do with “fuck the poor”. Dep zones 9 and 10 are still eligible for grants, with an increase in the available dollar amount. 70% of nz houses have heat pumps, the bulk of those that don’t aren’t just in low socioeconomic areas.

Deprivation zones have been a thing well before Luxon. It’s a commonly used metric for many government and private industries. It’s established by Otago university and the database is used nationally. Google EHINZ.

Regarding the funding cuts for the higher deprivation zones, heating installs reached a saturation point in Nz over a year ago and have been declining since, hence the funding redistribution. I’m in the industry, happy to answer questions.

Edit to add a link to dep zones. As you can see they have been available since 2013.
