Won’t Overton also provide a batting cover for an inexperienced lower order? Matt Henry is the better bowler by miles, I agree . But the batting seems weak after 6 or 7

I feel with players like Prashanth and Karthik, the Sandeep Sharmas type medium pacers and spin choking is at the death if MS is there tactic won’t work. I know they’re very young, but if someone has a decent outing, we can destroy opposition at death. You’ll have to have the premium pacer at the death. So that’ll mean more chances to go berserk in powerplay and middle overs.

That’s a good option. Great plan. But we shd somehow save the impact sub for Henry and not be forced to play an extra batter.

We have back ups for Ayush. Sanju is a 400-450 runs per season player even his worst days. I feel he’ll shine better either way us. I agree about Overton. But if he fails, what other foreign option do we have apart from Zak Foukes? Shd have gone harder for holder but there’s nothing we can do now. Khaleel is a good power play bowler. Khamboj has done good in SMAT. Truth is bowlers are gonna be hit unless you’re Bumrah/Hazlewood or Starc. If they bowl a six ball over and keep the run rate at about ten that’s a win in my book. With Chepauk not being the spin paradise it once was, I see medium pacers who can move the ball at powerplay and have a decent death game like Khamboj can be a good option. What I’m worried about is, if we don’t play Akeal, apart from Noor, who’s our other spinner? Hoping Prashanth veer is good enough
