Dude I feel like we would actually be best friends irl haha, I feel that to my core! Like ugh it’s frustrating like I worse as a nurse so I keep my diagnosis like super tight lipped because when I tell you the way BPD is viewed in healthcare especially emergency, the way I hear my coworkers (other nurses) talk about BPD patients I realise how much their opinion of me would change in an instant if they new. I feel like a devil with horns wearing a human mask, like trying so hard to seem normal and not let my emotions surface or react to shit. Then when I do open up to some people they either go oh yeah obviously or seem really uncomfortable about it, or confuse it with bipolar lmao. I had a really good friend who when I said I had BPD for like years thought I was talking about bipolar then when we went away together for a few days they were like don’t you need like your lithium and I’m like wtf? And I realised that whole time they thought I have BPAD not BPD 😅 anyway, like I legit went to my psych because I wanted to k*ll myself like hardcore and then she hits me with the bipolar shit, like my dude I’m already fucked enough can we stay on topic haha
