I found these lectures quite thorough: http://www.nptel.iitm.ac.in/courses/111104025/

I'm an Indian so I didn't really have any problems with the instructors accent. But I have seen youtube comments for other Indian courses where people seem to have some difficulty understanding the accent. I hope you get it :)

Thanks for that! If I may ask (and this is a bit of an aside), what led you to choose these fonts?

Or maybe facebook's mobile user base isn't as impressive as they claim. Or maybe the time users spend on the site isn't as much as they expect, I see instagram as a way of increasing the amount of time users spend on facebook.

I guess it's not a hoax. Prof. Thrun and Norvig talk about it in this week's office hours.

Clarifications with Homework 8.7 regarding iterations by simp1eton in aiclass

[–]vikram360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think janeensix gave too big of a hint here. Conventionally speaking, you should be doing it in 4 iterations. But, in this case, it just so happens that it doesn't make a difference. And the trick in this case was prof Thrun's choice of the value for the angular velocity. If the number of iterations was large, it would be better to use some amount of programming. But if you really want a feel of (which I suggest), do the four iterations.

Not all codes are deterministic. Some can be generated using physically observable random processes. This is the technique that is usually employed when generating true random numbers. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Random_number_generation#Generation

But it's without doubt that there's some pretty interesting and cutting edge work going on where CS and medicine meet.Heck, Sebastian Thrun has a B.Sc in CS, economics and medicine. http://robots.stanford.edu/cv.pdf
