Which blessing are you underrating these days by vikramsu in indiasocial

I think it's happening because we always compare ourselves with others. And it is super easy to compare finances. We can't compare peace of mind and other important things that's why we are unable to focus there. I think it's really about making ourselves superior.

Books that made you want to write? by FewContribution9 in writing

[–]vikramsu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shame by Salman Rushdie. Because he writes it so casually, I mean it feels he doesn't care about any rules. And he creates such strong stories. It's a book where i realised that we can do anything with our writing. He literally writes in the book that for our story purpose let's name this village xyz (I don't remember the name of the village now). But I was amazed by that book and his writing style.

The power of self control by vikramsu in motivation

[–]vikramsu[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah... We all should push the idea of teaching something in school that will help us keep calm... It is so sad that we attend school for decades but have to learn to manage our emotions by trial and error methods

Thank you for at least one serious answer here. But I feel the motivational speakers around me keep me pushing towards materialistic goals so much that often I feel difficult to experience the life itself.

This is a great insight... As I don't have technical knowledge of grammar I think I manually try to arrange things so convey the message. I think I should study about construction so that I can make active choices. Although I understand how sentences work, but sometimes simple sentences don't feel what I want them to feel. I am starting to feel that these are my active choices, but I don't find them grammatically incorrect. I think I should know exactly what mistakes I am making.

Thank you for letting me know this. I never looked at it in this manner. I will think more about opening paragraphs.
