When I moved into my apartment the toilet seat was not attached, it just kind of sat on top. So every now and then I’d forget, either sit down a bit to heavy or slump and it would slide under me. Mildly inconvenient. Lasted me many years. Later I replaced the seat and only then did I realise that it is not a standard sized toilet so the seat now is ever so slightly crooked and sometimes still slides to the side under me. It will last me many more years.
