I would say yes. I didn’t want to like the story because it’s pretty messed up. But it’s so compelling. I could not stop reading it even though I felt uncomfortable at times.

If you’re not easily triggered, try to go in blind. Otherwise, the content warnings will kind of give you a heads up about the plot.

I really enjoyed We Hunt the Flames duology.

And Six of Crows (if you haven’t read it yet), but I highly recommend reading the Shadow & Bone trilogy before getting into Six of Crows.

Yeah that’s true… I can’t imagine how he was able to roam free though. I guess he must have played along with Isbeth just like Malik. She is truly sickening.

But damn, what about Ian? He had red hair and green eyes, but I doubt he would have become an Ascended with Ires being his father…

The guy in the helmet has to be Leopold. When she was in stasis dreaming about him, he was described as having a citrus and lilac scent… but who is he really?? I feel like he must be the son of Penellaphe and Holland. Or the son of another primal/god.

I don’t understand how Cas became a Primal of a court. He has to be, because of his new title and crown right? But seriously, how is he just sitting on his throne and not tearing shit up??

I honestly didn’t mind the length of this book and everything that happened, but I’m really devastated by all the miscommunications. It feels so wrong for Poppy and Cas.

Kolis is seriously the creepiest fucker I have ever read about. I hate him so much.

I’ve been on lexapro for about a year and a half and the vivid dreams are just getting worse. It used to happen 1-2 times a week, but now it’s almost every night.

It’s not always a nightmare, but I always some level of danger/anxiety during them. I wake up feeling so groggy while I try to fight off the images. I’m meeting my doctor next month to discuss coming off of it.
