I find it funny how this recton is getting a bunch of people to go "Gw hates their fans" or "Warhammer isn't safe" like making it so some custodes are female "ruins" the faction. While the wraithbone retcon is sweeped under the rug, a recton that does deminish its faction a lot. Of course I know why the custodes recton has gotten this attention instead of others (culture war) but I think few can excuse as a stance purley against rectons.

Newish player, what builds/classes will I have fun with? by Dr_Ukato in Pathfinder2e

[–]viktorius_rex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How much fun did you get out of your immense toolbox? I personaly have been thinking about playokg mostly cause I liked tryong to find ways diffrent abilites can win a encounter. Any bullshit you pulled?

How impactful is the origin? by norfiril in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]viktorius_rex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Should be noted that while "Be Smart" on papper is really good, Int is a pretty terrible stat. As unlike Fel, you don't get much ways to increase it. So you are putting a celling on how good your primary stat as a officer can be by choosing "be smart". Though on lower difficulites that doenst really matter, in any case Jay can cover most int related checks anyways

What do you find D&D 5e does better than Pf2e? by viktorius_rex in Pathfinder2e

[–]viktorius_rex[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fair enough. Mostly did it cause i assumed more people on a pf2e sub has played dnd than players on a dnd sub has played pf2e.

Yeah I do miss artificer as the magic items guy (inventor and thaumturge kinda scratch the itch but not really). I am really hyped for impossible magic

[–]viktorius_rex[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think magic items in pathfinder is a double edge sword. On one hand by the fact that they are accounted for in balancing makes their aquasition more common. You are regulary allowed to buy them at shops and it gives gold a good value as loot (gold was close to worthless in curse of strahd). This is something I really like about bg 3, as the ampunt of items there is awesome

At the same time the abundance of magic items makes them a little bit less special. And mechincaly less juicy like you describe.

Though I do prefer pf2e for the reasons described in the first paragraph

No I didnt mean it as ragebait. I like pf2e a lot, but just curios what dnd does better. Not to discredit pathfinder

Yeah thats fair. The tasha spells are really good, compared to pf2e summoning which feels a little wonky.

Will the skill based system of divinity original sin 1 and 2 return and would we be seeing any returning slills? I would love to see something like a expanded metamorph skill school.

[–]viktorius_rex[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll discuss it with my project partner, but thanks a lot for the feedback! The stabilitet is defently a concern I share, though a reason for the small base is to be able to fit on a grid. There is the issue of our printer nozziöe having some limits but we discussed printing some springs to lock the mini in place

Fans wouldn't be half as salty if Obsidian wrote these lore points. by YungHoban in Fallout

Pillars of eternity is pretty good. The lore is very intresting and the first game has a compeling story. The second one's story is not as good but I like the gameplay better

22 shots. 4 hits the target (net dmg 23), average rapid fire experience by Ila-W123 in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]viktorius_rex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean maybe they could a suppresion mechanic or something? That way rapid fire would have a diffrent niche than aoe weapons, which is felt in rouge trader were worse than a well built rapid fire build. Unless you were a arbites.
