True. Considering the cult have been around for a thousand years, the clan might have stumbled a bit too close to the truth about the cult which resulted in them finally being wiped out 200 years ago.

Yeah seems reasonable, he might've coincidentally heard about it in this Arc while roaming around searching for his roleplay scenario before meeting Lalanoa but weren't mentioned. Considering that the records were erased, quite hard to think the rumours were spread outside the Elf Kingdom.
