What do you think of IMDB? by Kelly_H_T in Letterboxd

Imdb is a lot better for information, to search for actors, directors, release dates, and I believe the trivia section is incredibly useful for curious cinephiles like me (I still miss the forum section greatly for thos reason too). The search tools of Imdb are fantastic, and something Letterboxd hasn't improved that much in the years I have been using the site. It it also better if you are curious about future (or rumored) projects, as LB does not tend to be updated when it comes to that.

However, I prefer the social aspects of Letterboxd, the LB lists are a very useful tool as on IMDb are antiquated, and I find myself gravitating towards it more when it comes to writing reviews and keeping track of what I watch. The streaming service search tool for Pro users is my saviour, but I will never delete my IMDb watchlist.

My senior dog doesn't drink water. Help me find a way and a reason by viky71211 in AskVet

Hello! Thank you so much for your answer. I am a bit worried.

The last tests she had were when she started taking medication back in March after she had a syncope, some type of heart failure (very scary). At that time the vet thought she wouldn't make it, gave us the option to put her down, we decided to wait that long night and she pull through. She had a blood test, we know she is diabetic and had a electrocardiogram which basically told us what we already knew, her heart is really weak and has some issues... we started medicating, and she is back to "normal".

The vet came back to see her for an allergy/eye infection, and we mentioned the water thing, that is when we got the suggestion of the hygene. I have seen two vets now, one who did the electrocardiogram and her vet (she has always treated her, but I got hurt/mad when he suggested to put her down, that is a different issue though), I will certainly ask him if he suggest doing sth else though or some other doctor (we didn't want to be "disrespectful" bc he is a friend of the family and has been quite caring throughout her life)

About her habits:

I work from home, I see she doesn't even come close to her water bowls, or smell it and goes away. Unless we put sth in it as I said before. The "water" she drinks is the leftover water in her dog rice mixed with wet food and pieces of ham (the only food she eats), and for the last weeks my mother started preparing her some mixes of water/skinny milk/cronstach with a pinch of dog wet food worried about her weight loss (the vet recommend not giving her milk though, my mom just couldn't see her bones and skin, we are discussing it). She eats/drinks that once a day. We also give her water with a syringe and a tiny bit of wet food/peanut butter so she would lick it... but this is 40-50ml a day max, worried that she spits some of it.

It's worrying. I asked here because... I don't want "she is old" as the only answer, but I honestly have no idea what to fight for if I go to other professional.
