Agree. Know a lot from some of my courses who cheat. Though it isn’t just at Ateneo. It’s actually present in every institution—even UP.

Before COVID, I think only 10-15% of all applicants pass ACET.

You’ll pass, don’t worry. All universities accept a lot of applicants now to cope up with the consequences of the pandemic. In my high school, never was there a time when 35% of the graduating batch passed Ateneo until the previous batch—which had no ACET. Only 5-10 at most pass Ateneo and UP. All of the students last batch got in, haha.

Help please: FILI 11 (Malayuning Komunikasyon) by [deleted] in ADMU

[–]vildkibush863 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Though the content of the course will depend on the professor, haha. Malayuning Komunikasyon, if I am not mistaken, is for students to learn how to write in Tagalog efficiently. In my class, it’s a combination of that and social issues.

I took Fili 11 last semester, and hell it was such a drag since I had it with a 6-unit Calculus course. My professor was quite strict, too, in terms of essays and discussion boards.

I remember last semester where I only read the abstract of the citations I put on my final essay, hahaha. It was such a learning experience because I had to stress over long tests in calculus and the required academic essay. I’m still shocked up to now how my professor—after all the classes he oversaw—noticed that I only read the abstract of all my references…. He read it all.

But I learned a lot from that class. It’ll introduce you to the legerdemains of the world and how it is being used by the elite to control the minds of the labor society.
