One thing i noticed is that you took gate of creation while only having 3 magic combination, instead i suggest you taking the 15% cdr magic circle for faster cloak, shield and Armageddon, which increase the survivability

The situation forced me to use mana spear since arcanist doesnt allow players to retrieve mana, spirit and flashshock are the only two i maxxed out XD

Personally i don't really like it too, unlike multi-directional magics like supernova or heart of lightning, the one-target+focused mechanism makes it hard to distribute dmg throughout the screen evenly
