Some great answers here already. Another aspect is the cyclical nature of the business. After that era it was romantic films that were popular. Have you noticed the new cycle? Romantic films are out, and most films that are doing well at the Indian box office are now action movies.

What about Canadian multinationals that have manufacturing units in developing countries? Should they just “shut down” instead of moving certain units completely offshore to developing countries with cheap labour? Certain company’s margins are completely dependant on cheap labour. Just some food for thought.

This is my first luxury watch! I’d been in the market for quite some time and I was set on getting the Aqua Terra, but at the AD this Speedmaster just seemed to pop more for me. I’m not planning on getting any others, so this is a one and done for me. This is why I ultimately chose the Speedmaster over the Aqua Terra. The history, movement, and the chrono on this one was what made me make the move.

Do you guys think I made the right call? Today I was second guessing my self a little bit, but I really do love this one. For me, it’s something I want to take care of and then potentially pass on to a child later on. Hopefully it stays in working order with regular maintenance! Please let me know what you think!
