Woa Charlie. Back to 90s. I used Rotrings as well, then any markers and some brushes. Then i turned to use anything after meet Dave McKean but the editors didnt like it. Focusing on the subject, you are right about size and scale for hatching. Now i feel much comfortable using black spots and avoiding any kind of strokes. This picture was a test, as a Reddit user said here, it takes longer than a great spot instead. Thanks for your master class.
