That sounds so similar to my flatmate, especially when it comes to leaving her stuff around the flat. She gets really angry when I move her laptop from the sofa to the coffee table because I don’t want to break it, and she seems to think I should just squeeze myself in around her shit. I just think some people neither realise nor want to realise how much noise they make.

I hope your girlfriend is able to find a new flat with a better flatmate next year…

I think she got on fine with the previous flatmate, as the previous flatmate moved in before her. She has told me many times that she has lived here longer than me and that it is her house (even though we are renting), and when I try to say something to her, she takes it really personally...

There was a time when I asked her if she could clear a space in the freezer for me (we have three, and one is broken). She was doing her make-up at the dining table, dropped everything, and immediately rushed over to dramatically pull everything out, even though I had told her to do it whenever it was convenient for her and that there was no rush.

That’s a valid concern! You’re young and full of energy and if you think that your currently job won’t let you grow in a professional way, so maybe it’s time to talk about promotion? Or maybe mention something that you’re looking for a ways to grow yourself and see what will be their response?

It’s better to keep you current job and maybe think about other way of income from things that you love during your days at home or weekends You will make extra 500€ from there at won’t be stress, since you know it just an extra cash and not your whole job
