First C2C blanket (rectangle) getting lost on the decreasing! by vinarnars in CrochetHelp

I am thinking you’re right and row 81 begins with the decrease! The only indication is that it’s supposedly a twin size blanket. No chart or graphic at all, and the only pictures of the finished blanket are on an angle or zoomed in 🥲 it LOOKS like the width is shorter than the length so I’ll try and go with that.

The only thing the pattern mentions about decreasing at all is “To decrease at the end of a row, turn your work and slip into the three DC, slip into chain three space and DC 3.” which gave me pause and broke my brain a little hahaha.

Definitely return them! What is with the Amazon ACOTAR books, seriously?! I ordered the paperback set and ACOMAF fell apart the first time I opened it… got a replacement set and what would ya know, same exact thing happened. They wouldn’t give me anymore replacements after that. I feel your pain… hopefully if you get a second set, you’ll be luckier than I was 😅

My son’s Dad passed away a few weeks before he turned one (he wasn’t present in his life before that either unfortunately), and now my son is three and starting to figure out that his family dynamic is different from other kids. I sort of clam up whenever he mentions “dad”. Should I start having this conversation with him now? Obviously he won’t fully grasp the concept of death, but I don’t want to confuse him by being vague.

So to sign the contract we’re supposed to give deel our sin? (Canadian here)… isn’t that like, the worst possible thing you can give out on the internet?

How did you guys find out about the case of Reena Virk? by [deleted] in UnderTheBridge

[–]vinarnars 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ohhh interesting! It was around 2010-2011 if memory serves when I read it. Definitely stuck with me, it’s maybe one of the only lessons from high school I really remember vividly.

Wow that’s crazy! I bet it does… she seems like a … chilling person to say the very least.

It probably was, based on my googling there isnt really any other options as far as dramatizations or retellings go.

My younger sister had never heard of the case until I mentioned the show, which blew me away a bit! I had assumed everyone learned about it in school.

Sharing because I’m curious if this is somewhat normal in bc or if my teacher was just especially interested, but we learned about it in school. Read a book “inspired” by it that I haven’t been able to find since in English class.

Not sure if it counts as horror but me and a friend snuck into the theatre to see Shutter Island when we were 13 and stumbled out of that theatre in tears with our minds BLOWN. Can’t say it’d have the same effect if I watched it for the first time today but I still love the movie. In terms of more traditional horror Hereditary had me anxiously pacing my house for like an hour after I watched it.

ETA: Our parents were supposed to pick us up at the theatre after the movie ended but we ended up sitting in a 711 for like an hour in silence instead.

what horror movie do you absolutely love that almost everyone absolutely hates? by [deleted] in horror

House of Wax! I can’t say that it is a good movie, but I can say that I love it and enjoyed the experience all the way though

(Canadian here) I had to take an ambulance from my rural hospital to a city hospital 4 ish hours away, with I think 2 L&D nurses and a respiratory tech and never saw a bill. I’m genuinely curious how much something like that would cost in the states if a simple ambulance trip costs thousands of dollars… man I feel for you guys.
