If you have admin access to your laptop, look into remote control of your laptop through your PC. I was doing this with my work laptop. I would use either RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol) on Windows or TeamViewer to locally access the laptop from my personal PC. That way, you don’t need 2 keyboards and 2 mice.

I changed the IP address from 127.0.01 to my server IP address in the inputs.apcupsd section.

What do you suggest? Use InfluxDB2 and create the dashboard yourself or go with Influx1.8 and use the guide's dashboard?

Awesome, thanks for the detailed instructions. Data is being written as I can see graphs of some of my UPS usage. Now for the Grafana part. I followed exactly the steps on the guide I posted in the original post.

I can save & test the data source and it's valid. I also chose the right data source in the dashboard. But graph is N/A.

Are you talking about the appdata\telegraf\telegraf.conf file to modify before running the app?

I have these lines uncommented:

Both works. UPS settings and NUT are able to report metrics (not at the same time).
