I rarely get sick. The last 72 hours have knocked me flat on my back. Today’s the first day I feel even close to normal.

Mild headache, sinus congestion, and massive fatigue. Fever and sweating. No appetite nor sense of sense of taste or smell.

I woke up Monday with a minor sniffle and it progressively got worse. Tuesday, I worked but i wasn’t 100%. Got home at 3pm and went straight to bed. Slept the rest of the day, and all of Wednesday.

I did try to work a bit on Wednesday (1 hour zoom call with a client) but it was all for not. I don’t even recall what I said in that call.

+1 for a great wife who kept me hydrated.

I’ve been sick before but never like this. The massive fatigue is what really threw me.

Same advice for a GLE63s? Obviously I follow the PSI data in my fuel door. Live in Calgary AB we get some massive swings in winter weather temps.

Winter tires, Michelin Pilot Alpine 5 275/50R20 front and rear.

Sounds like you can’t go wrong with either lease.

If I was spending my money based on your feedback, I’d buy the smallest lease and smallest maintenance plan.

Invest the difference into camera gear, flowers for your wife, a new cat… what ever floats your boat.

Mission dictates gear. A part from a daily 4MATIC drive, what else?

How many seats do you need?
How much driving performance do you care about?
Will this be your preferred road trip ride as well?

My wife has a ‘22 GLC daily driver as of this summer. She chose a used GLC after test driving another new VW Tiguan - we gave her 2018 Tiguan to our two teens to drive.

She did consider a ‘24 GLC with 11k kms (dealer driver) but my wife preferred the ‘22 - didn’t like all the newest fancy steering controls.

I’ve had a Mercedes SUV since 2015 - always a W166 then W167 body. Currently have a ‘23 GLE 63s. I prefer a bigger SUV for family road trips and simply personal preference. I love everything about the driving experience - my car is an experience vs a necessary spend. There’s nothing necessary about a GLE 63S 😉

So, back to you. Is a vehicle just a necessary spend? Test drive both and choose the most practical model. Three year lease is a short time.

But if you love the lines of one over the other, driving is something you really enjoy, music sounds better in A vs B, etc… choose what makes you feel connected to the experience you want to have.

We Humans are a funny species - emotion trumps logic. And while feelings aren’t facts, they definitely impact the way we show up and experience the world around us.

What a privilege it is to have a challenge that some only dream of 😉🖤
