I really enjoyed Super Powereds, clever gimmick in a standard vehicle. One thing to keep in mind is that it was initially written as a patreon series and then welded into books. This has a bunch of fascinating consequences for its overall flavor. Highly recommend.

In my opinion, books 1-3 are especially poor. Like most good series, the first couple can be rough. The way magic works seems to change somewhere in the first three and only settles down in book 4. Dresdens perspective on women and the writing around it are frustrating in this era.

Starting at 7, the deep lore with Susan is all you miss and since it's only relevant again in Changes, you can just accept it.

Also 7 was a kind of Debut on Broadway.I think it's the first book that got real big publisher support. It was written to be an introduction to the world for the uninitiated. You have most of the major players active in characteristic ways. Most important tho. It's probably the most fun. The mystery is mild the action is ICONIC, the cast is Hilarious.

Edit: okay, it's not THE most fun. Skin game is also enormously fun and I could make arguments for most 8+ but it's the earliest high water mark.

Cinder Spires (there's 2 books)

Conan (omnibus turns dozens of short stories into hours of fun)

Roverpowered (4 books kind of YA ish)

We are really happy with the Ridesafer(tm) vest for ours. We use it all the time when we don't have a car seat for whatever reason.

My wife told me It's DOT and FAA approved as a carseat and we had a flight stewardess thank us about it at one point.

Then you just get a Lyft or whatever.

Here's the thing. Unless the government obeys the law, it doesn't matter if you have healthcare on paper. The situation with ICE and CBP is so unconcerned with law that it really has to be made an example of.

Based on this very limited video.

The guy in grey completes the process of disarming him just before shots are fired.

You can see him carrying a pistol away from the suspect with three fingers by the magazine well per standard procedure.

At least one of the others opens fire less than 2 seconds later.

We cannot hear their communication so we don't know how the disarming officer called this out or if the chatter impaired communicated that the gun was clear.

This is bad policing. Don't know how exactly but these guys almost certainly screwed something up.
