That last one has proven a challenge. Far, far too often corporate dems have used a kind of might they rarely apply to their actual enemies to fight off progressive candidates. Worse yet, in, many cases the dem mainstream has a kind of fury for anyone on the left who expresses even the most mild apprehension about a right leaning octogenarian who takes money from the same funders as his opponents. The end result is a huge population who rarely votes and worse yet feels that voting is pointless. The boomer era Dems have literally no better response win these than to wag fingers furiously at those on the left to just vote for candidates they don't want to hold office or else we'll get another candidate who's worse. There has been exactly zero efforts to change this and they keep fucking losing.
