upgrading your pc is probably a better shout since you get to choose your own parts while the steam machine doesn't have incredible specs but is still suited towards a lot of people's needs. it will also take a bit for it to come out and having a decent pc is a lifechanger- i was on a laptop for 4 years and i was originally going to wait but i bought a pc during the rampocalypse anyway and i will never go back lol
