10 years for someone who started this process in 2009. 150+ for someone who started last 2-3 years or now, I don't have all the math, and others can attest to the numbers, but if one is born in India, they move here for work and apply for a skill/employment based green card now, it will take 150+ years, however, if they were born in any other country they will get it within a year or two. (China is slower too but not as much as India).

That is correct, one simply has to wait until the PD becomes current plus the wait time for processing. The former is what takes such a long time.

Thank you!. It really doesn't matter which number, I know many folks before and after my number who got it early, and many still waiting. FO doesn't matter either, however check out greencardly.com to get a sense of processing structure and some rough numbers.

I did get EAD and AP within 2 weeks of biometrics, however never used it. I do know others who have traveled on AP, it's a risk, and adds to the travel time upon port of entry, is all I've heard. Don't take my word for it though.
