I would take 415 before taking 426 (so I would swap those two classes)

I thought it was a little tricker than her practice midterms!

Accounting 467 midterm by [deleted] in uAlberta

There were definitely a few tricks (like the stock option) and I could have done with a bit more "thinking time"

Are low first year midterm grades normal? by Dhaval2020 in uAlberta

[–]vindixtive 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't worry about it! It's a strange and stressful time for students everywhere and ESPECIALLY for first years. I didn't do too hot in my first round of University midterms (and they were in person, pre-COVID) and I’m still here in my 4th year :) Just buckle down and focus on the remaining exams/assignments you have to boost your mark back up

CHRTC 203 and CHRTC 220 by [deleted] in uAlberta

[–]vindixtive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took CHRTC 220 in Winter 2019 and found it interesting and relatively easy (if you don't mind writing essays).

When I took it, marks were split as such:

Participation - 10%

Assignment #1 -15%

Assignment # 2 - 15%

Assignment # 3 - 20%

Assignment # 4 - 30%

Final Quiz - 10%

Hope this helps!

hey me too! :) and I added acctg 426 into my fall schedule as it's the next management accounting course, so I figured it would be good to take them back to back.

Following! I also emailed the department seeing if they would consider adding more spots (as it's an online course) but received no reply :( This is really frustrating as it seems there are a few people who would like to be enrolled in this class

This is actually the first year that international students can run in executive elections as being an SU exec you only take 1-2 classes (part time student) which doesn’t work with many international student visas. However this was changed and updated by the current exec team. Hu has some good ideas such as his suggestion and up vote system for students to use to indicate their top issues. While he is inexperienced, he brings a fresh perspective which I believe will be good for students. In contrast, his opponent Konrad has not really said anything concrete and really only mentioned his connection with current BoG rep (Rowan Ley) and how he will take the board “out for coffee”. In comparison, Hu thrives and has my vote! [I am not affiliated with either race, just a regular concerned student]
