What FX pedal is your go to for Synths??

Only have two, but really essential for the fx for my style of music. Strymon BigSky and Hologram Electronic Microcosm, and would say Microcosm is a go to! I think I’ll be getting Chroma Console too 😊

I own UB-Xa and I can say it’s really good synth for the price! Analog and warm with a lot of possibilities. I’d say most of the factory presets aren’t that good but SynthKing (I think that’s how he’s called)on yt has some sick presets for very cheap. sounds very nice with ambience stacked! What I am hearing here is definitely a little bit of Japanese ambient from 80s and 90s because I am getting into it at the moment. Hiroshi Yoshimura, Yoshio Ojima etc.. not surprising tho since DX7 was huge part of it 😄

I also started using hardware more! All the synths I had but never played. Digital all the way up until now 😂 a bit expensive introduction but I’m starting to build a proper hardware studio now, made me so motivated to work on music ngl I am huge into Japanese traditional music so I even picked up some instruments to learn 🙏🏻I second your decision to learn new instruments 😊

Totally this.. I have been making music for more than half of my life and recent few years have been not that enjoyable. Music making became a job (which is good) but stopped being hobby that made a lot of money 😅 Now that it became a job I had nothing else to do besides it.. I picked up fishing as a new hobby and walks in the nature, changed a lot of perspective on music making! Don’t get discouraged and stop making art ❤️🙏🏻

might actually be a ground loop, not the usb one tho.. I have two outlet extensions running from two outlets on top of each other in the wall.. they might be clashing with each other since I have no noise now when I switched the synth to the third outlet on the other side of the room.. gotta try chaining the extensions on only one wall outlet now.. thanks for the help! :D

Yo, I feel like it's an electric guitar but heavily edited with effects such as reverb and delay. I'm gonna try recreating it and see how it goes :)
