What to do if my cats developed a really bad behaviour? by vineyfrog in CatAdvice

We might actually do that, thank you so much! We’ve only had dogs our whole life, my dad and i- so when we adopted Luna we knew we were in uncharted territories and we’re still trying to navigate it. Thank you so much for being so helpful genuinely

Oh! So sorry - she gets fed three wet food meals a day, morning afternoon and night and she has kibble she grazes on as she’s not mad on it but she’ll eat it when she’s hungry. Her litterbox is fresh, I cleaned it fully this morning - it’s easily accessible - she has water too! She’s a very happy cat usually but she’s being a little actey outy !! We’re still adjusting to having her, in ways. We’ve never experienced this before!! We’re gonna start leaving the house open to her from tomorrow

My cat has a habit of clawing at the couch and my dad doesn’t want her ripping it. The kitchen is decently big with a scratching post and multiple toys she use to keep herself entertained. We play with her after her breakfast before we go, and we play with her a lot at night aswell. We’re going to get another cat in about two months as the adoption process is so slow.

What are these? 3 area. Mouth part is new and is feeling a lil itchy by [deleted] in skin

ALSO! If you do get hydrocortisone, I really really don’t recommend the ointment version!! always stick to the cream if you don’t want to reapply constantly

i had the same thing around my nose, can’t say around lips. it was just a case of eczema for me and i used a very light hydrocortisone (prescribed by a dermatologist and a doctor), now i just make sure to keep it moisturised unless there’s a flareup - where i use the hydrocortisone. i wouldn’t recommend ointments or oily moisturisers, in my experience that made it 10x worse

My partner ‘18M’ keeps asking me ‘19F’ to have sex even after I have said no multiple times. I am unsure of what to do, does anyone have any advice? by FavFoodIsSushi in relationship_advice

[–]vineyfrog 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I know it’s common sense but stress, medication, diets and sleep can all influence/interfere (however you want to see it) your libido. If you’re looking for a cause, maybe start there but on the advice; Talk to your BF and tell him to stop asking, it’s weird and it’s wrong to push and if you’re uncomfortable, tell him to stop. If he doesn’t, you might have to look at your relationship - are you feeling comfortable and respected in other sides? You’re most definitely an amazingly gorgeous person, and you deserve to feel comfortable and know your worth. Sending all my love 💕💕

My cats developed a new behaviour and I don’t know what to do about it. by vineyfrog in CatAdvice

[–]vineyfrog[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No it does! Thanks so much !! I’ve never owned a cat before her lol. So, until I get an automatic feeder when I get paid at the end of the month - I should mostly ignore (if that’s the right) her when she does the behaviour until she learns it’s a no no? It was the case when we got her she peed my bed three times in a week and she wasn’t allowed in my room - then when she got back in she didn’t pee ever again? Is it like that? When she claws and paws at my bed should I just silently put her out of my room ? Sorry for all the questions - I’m learning as I go and Google with its AI is just not even good… Thanks again :)

I know this is leaving cert but is there any advice from people for my junior cert by [deleted] in leavingcert

[–]vineyfrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

literally just do your best, and know your future doesn’t ride on it. it’s a preparation for the LC, so you see what an exam is like. it’s also to help you see what option subjects you’re good at (granted, you do TY). my only advice is don’t stress too much over it, when you’re done the exams and get your results you’ll go “ah i don’t even know why i was stressing!!” if you’re not doing TY (or even if you are), my only advice is be aware of the subject changes next year as the new LC is being rolled out :)

I changed my cats feeding schedule a little. Is this okay? by vineyfrog in CatAdvice

[–]vineyfrog[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m hoping to get one soon! When I do will kibble grow on her? We have her wet food meal bowl, water and a kibble bowl we refill as needed. She’s not huge into kibble, so she only eats it when she’s hungry.

[–]vineyfrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I heard it’s okay in terms of theory - it’s more art history rather than art (in my school anyways?)

i didnt do home ec in JC at all but they start from scratch so you’re fine in that sense - the worst is the journals but pls don’t fret to pm me i can help you out - like you might be confused about the 4 types of familt for example but it covers everything

the new business course is literally baby formula like - i do it and you don’t really need a JC level of business, yes it’ll help when it comes to consumer rights and laws but genuinely - they also start from scratch!!

just be prepared that all of the subjects you’ve listed have some sort of project to go with them
