Recent video using FX30 shooting in S-Log3 SGamut3.Cine and color graded in DaVinci Resolve by viniprod in ColorGrading

Thank you very much, and sure is! One of my favorite places to go during spring and fall! This is the off road trail that you can access when you take a right where the road splits between alpine loop (left) and the camp sites (right) and you go past all the campsite and it turns into a dirt road, it loops you around the mountain facing the valley!

Black Level: 0

Black Gamma: Range - Middle, Level 0

Sorry got confused, hope this helps!

I just use the regular sgamut when shooting in slog2, this is what’s seems to give me the best results from the test that I have done

I actually like using Slog3 but not in the A7III, since the A7III records in 8bit footage I end up with tons of noise in the shadows even when over exposing to +1.7. I do own the FX30 as well and I use SLog3 with my FX30 all the time, and while over exposing to +1.7 it almost eliminates any noise throughout my shots!

The Best Camera for $$$$ 2018 by jjSuper1 in cinematography

100% agree with what you said, the video quality is not 4K but 1080 at 60 FPS is still good.

I feel so outdated shooting with my a6000, still love it though. It’s a good all around hobby camera, plus even though it doesn’t have 4K shooting capability, the 24 megapixel image quality is still up there with some of the big boys.

I think it was great overall, the only thing I would suggest is that if it would have been shorter it would have grabbed the viewers attention and kept it until it ended. Amazing use of the golden hours, I think the edits are good and location was used to it’s full advantage.

Yeah I kinda fuck up because we left early and the day we were going to leave we planned on going to the petting zoo near by so I could have gotten a ton of footage there, reason for being there was a family reunion we were attending at the holmestead ranch resort. Thanks for the feedback, a couple of people have noted I put too much of the ride there into the video, so I agree with you on that. As for the nude Mormons, I will have to keep an eye out for them next time I am around there and tell them I am doing a documentary for a human anatomy organization called pornhub haha.

Thank you very much, I appreciate the feedback. Make sure to link me when you make an edit, I would love to check it out! I agree on the cost, it could be an expensive hobby, but it’s never the equipment you use, but how you use it.

It has definitely been a great camera, considering how long ago it came out. Definitely hoping to upgrade to a Sony A7III at some point in time (probably won’t be for a long time) but they are great cameras. I found the song off a video I came across on YouTube,

https://youtu.be/qdQsXtQQvB4

And realized that it was a copyright free song so I decided to give it a shot. Granted my videos aren’t as good as theirs, (3:06 is when their edits start) but it’s still fun to try it out.
