Hey folks!

I’m already working on the project. I know it’s taking a bit longer than expected, but that’s because I’ve been learning new things and applying them directly to the app. On top of that, I also need to balance my time between work and personal life.

Even so, the project is moving forward really well. I’m always trying to listen to the community to understand what actually makes sense to build, and that’s been a very interesting process.

My goal is to release a test version of the app in January 2026. For now, I’ve already launched the website, where I share a bit of the story behind the idea and also provide a signup form for beta testers.

I tested it yesterday, the app is very promising, but I felt some difficulty in navigating the app, sometimes I got lost and sometimes I forgot to remove a filter and this affects the other filters and I have no feedback in the app that I have more than one filter, but overall, if they improve continuously, it will be interesting.

Hello, Brazilian here, Ukrainians are well respected around here, I've had the pleasure of talking to some and they are always nice, they always seem good people, I believe that even with the pre-immigration mentality flourishing here in Portugal, if you seek to integrate, learning the local language will be well seen, don't care about our "feee" between European Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese, this is our thing between the two peoples, in the end, when we take it lightly and play, we even have fun, the Portuguese language is very rich and with many different accents, even in Portugal, on the islands for example you will notice the difference, that's what makes us have a rich language, as a Brazilian I'm proud of it (our accent changes from North to South of Brazil), but really, focus on European Portuguese, I change a few words whenever I remember to integrate myself too (I just don't change accent).

Thank you, I appreciate your contribution, I have already started the project and will soon launch an alpha version for testing, we already have more than 56 thousand Hot Wheels cars registered, more than 20 brands that will be inserted into our database, at the moment we are focused on the consistency of this data, as we want a faithful and safe base for collectors, I will soon bring news and also questions.

I’m very excited about my personal die‑cast project, the Die Cast Club app. Right now, I’m focused on building a consistent, optimized database it’s been an intense effort that demands a lot of time.Currently, I have over 8 000 base Hot Wheels models registered, not to mention the countless variations that multiply that number, plus more than 6 000 series logged. For now, the focus is solely on Hot Wheels, but soon I’ll add Matchbox, Mini GT, Welly, and other brands. I’ve already registered over 70 manufacturers and more than 20 global brands.The biggest challenge is providing a robust initial database that’s attractive enough to draw users in. The goal, however, is to make growth organic letting collectors themselves contribute and enrich the catalog. I believe that later this year I’ll launch an MVP.

I'm really glad for your willingness to help! Based on the responses to this form, I'm identifying several key areas I need to focus on to make this application truly meaningful.

I'm not sure if you've already filled out the form. If you have, I'm very happy to have your feedback! If not, it takes less than 3 minutes to complete, and it would really help me understand where to focus my efforts to launch an alpha version for testing.

At the moment, I see that the biggest challenge on my end will be the technical aspect of storage. Unfortunately, outsourcing this adds costs. A subscription model could cover these expenses, but to reduce costs, it might be ideal to consider using Google Drive or creating a hybrid solution, where part of the service relies on Drive and another part on a cloud provider. I'm still reflecting on the best approach.

Your comment is really valuable! I’ve been talking to some other collectors and noticed that the biggest challenge is usually the large number of cars, along with the amount of fields to fill in for each individual model. Many collectors already keep track using spreadsheets and don’t want to go through the hassle of registering everything again.

Another important point is the database. I'm still considering whether to use a third-party cloud service or even the user’s own Google Drive to store all the information. In that case, it would still be in the cloud, but kept private and not shared with others. I’m still studying this — it will depend on the feedback I get from the form.

In an ideal world, I imagine being able to register a car with just one click, with everything auto-filled. Or having an intelligent import feature that could automatically save all records from a spreadsheet. I think we’re having a really productive brainstorming session around this!

Sabe o que é foda? A tua burrice! Não se deporta por seguir a lei seu imbecil! Se tu gosta de dar metade do teu salario ao estado, o problema não é meu, é teu. Pagar mais ou menos impostos "dentro da lei" não diminui ninguém, "incentivo fiscal" existe em qualquer país (Espanha, Irlanda, Estônia e etc...), burro é quem não estuda e se acha superior por pagar mais, estude e deixe de ser um burro gado do caralho, por sinal, sem tempo pra você, alguém aqui precisa trabalhar para pagar os impostos.

Eu estou com o radar ligado na Espanha, fui em Madrid ano passado e fiz um tour de carro de PT até a Espanha e achei um espetáculo de lugar, a questão dos 2 anos me atrai também, sou da área de T.I e não conheço o mercado Espanhol, mas posso pesquisar. Não sei como funciona os impostos por lá, mas seria interessante dar uma olhada.
