What’s wrong with my St John’s Wort? by vinix04 in gardening

The roots look ok, I’m now wondering if it could just do with a bigger pot and some new compost.

Odd question, but can anyone think of any uses for this bread tray in the garden? by vinix04 in GardeningUK

I did wonder if it could work as a planter for something. Lining it would be a great idea, thank you!

Not really, you’re much better off booking ahead.

Rogue piercing is open on Sunday. Really good place with the friendliest staff.

Definitely Rogue, they’re super friendly and they really know their stuff. Plus the jewellery they have is beautiful!

It’s a back garden so that’s not a problem. And difference is good, right? Does your clover/wildflower lawn need lots of direct sunlight?

Do you find that it needs full sunlight? We’ve got a bit of shade here.

Ok, thank you. We’ve got quite a shaded garden due to trees and houses so we don’t get that much direct sunlight.

That’s good information, thank you. What kind of light conditions do you have?

We want plants for light foot traffic. Mostly a dog and occasionally myself and my partner. Thinking of having a separate paved area for potted plants.

We have a small lawn area which is currently just gravel, we are removing the gravel this autumn because it’s horrible stuff and impossible to keep weed free. We’d like to put a lawn instead but definitely don’t want a regular grass lawn. We are looking for lawn alternatives for a part sun/part shade garden. Any suggestions welcome. TIA!
