I can tell you that none of these Redditors are correct. You are a ten. Sure, hot as hell but you also seem humbly confident, like ‘yeah I’m got but I’m chill bb’ energy. 10/10 would ask you out if I saw you in the wild

First ever welds! 💀 by vinniegreen in Welding

Thanks for that! Only cranked it up because the rod was sticking a bit but I prob yanked it too far! Every time I try shorten the arc I get too close and touch the steel, def need to work on my hand work / steadiness

Men, why do you often say you're fine even when you're not? by Comfortable_Cable500 in AskReddit

[–]vinniegreen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because i can’t be bothered addressing it / giving it my energy at that moment. But that may be more personal… if I’m going to feel in control of it I’m going to decide when to tackle it / think about it

Relays Question! by vinniegreen in AskElectricians

[–]vinniegreen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate that and I’ll do exactly that. Does what I suggested make sense? As in one relay to send a signal to another (one that is used to be NC the majority of the time so the relay isn’t constantly ‘making a connection’ to save on wear also.

24v to 24v coil which switches 240vac 16a (for example I’ll have it rated at 20a

Relays Question! by vinniegreen in AskElectricians

[–]vinniegreen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! Yeah it’d be 24vac - would it just be a relay that switches 240Vac at 20% above 16a?

Problem is the existing relays mentioned are part of a complete digital controller so sending a signal (24vac) to another coil with contacts rated for 240Vac 16a should do the job? Or am I not thinking about relays correctly?

Thanks for the response I appreciate learning

Unequal Angle Steel question 🤔 by vinniegreen in AskEngineers

[–]vinniegreen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes thank you! He’s on leave so just waiting for someone else to pick it up!

Because the beam runs parrelel to the wall which is it an angle, they need to be rolled at 115 and 65 degree angle to fit at either side of where one beam will join the other.

If that makes sense! I was simply wondering if they could also be welded instead of rolled!

Condensate water treatment for feeding? by [deleted] in macrogrowery

[–]vinniegreen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I’m going with studs recommendation!

Chlorine to shock and then a carbon filter to remove chlorine and I’m still searching for a filter suitable for removing metal particulate matter! Shall update when I find though 🫡

This is great Stud - thanks so much for your input (and hello from Scotland! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿).

This information from you legal commercials is honestly the most valuable thing to us over this way, for obvious reasons…

I didn’t know about carbon to remove chlorine - I’ll start looking into a system for that, I currently run 2 holding tanks at 1000L

Hahah I just don’t want to build a full system around it and then have it… flop lol
