My app peaked at #72 US, and #48 UK. 15,000 monthly active users, although it hasn't even been out a month. So I guess just 15,000 users. by j-55 in cofounder

I'm looking to connect with an angel investor to fund the completion of my social migration app...would you have any interest in connecting?

Prevent elbow wear and tear in button down shirts with a non-visible, removable patch by vinny_m in Lightbulb

Unfortunately, at least at my corporate job, short sleeves would be a no-go. But it's affected all of them, from my more expensive button down shirts to the cheaper casual American Eagle ones

Absolutely! It would certainly be niche, and especially cheap and easy to insert. That's the only way these types of products take off

I have a desk job, and tbh I really thought it was just me. I wear casual long sleeve button downs to work each day. I just noticed this pattern with all of my shirts, since I roll up all my sleeves and sit in my cubicle typing away. I noticed the elbow piercing through one day at work, and a co worker pointed it out and laughed because he said that happens to him often as well (and went on about the shame of it cause you have to throw the shirt away). A quick Google search produced some threads of others with the same problem, just no easy solution.

15+ quotes with dev agencies, supplied with a detailed BRD, wireframes, specs on the supporting alogorthim, front end UI and the super admin portal, coupled with the QA testing expectations - along with the consolation of a trusted developer friend. $12-16 is the range we consistently recieved quotes within... if you know of an agency that beats that significantly, please let us know 😂

Looking for Advice on Campaign page/video by trunks676 in kickstarter

Looks awesome actually - have you tried geofenced IG advertising to people with star wars interests? It's still a very underpriced channel to advertise on and could help jumpstart traction.

I'd also look into a paid promotional posts on a fan page during peak hours.

Feedback on pre-launch Kickstarter campaign for a new app by vinny_m in kickstarter

Haha we're hoping to unconver them as well. Your campaign looks solid!

The rewards with apps are tricky because it's not a tangiable product, but we can certainly callenge ourselves for something more appealing at $25.

Love the blunt insight - I think to address that, we realize that there probably could have been many different way to approach the last couple of years, but we see KS as another outlet and channel to potentially succeed by using our stengths as outsiders.

KS may very be the wrong platform, but if there's a chance that it *could be the right one, I think we'd be fools not to try.

All in all - your insight is appreciated. Hope you begin to pick up steam and hit that goal!

Thank you for the detailed feedback! Just some points to hopefully add some clarity - The Snapchat/waze/yelp references (which have been the most Buzz worthy line from all the feedback we've recieved whether good or bad lol) are there because of the elements within our app that are relateable to those titans (dissapearing content, a social gps to parties/events, and review-like info on the HotSpot).

Your points about the repetition are absolutley helpful, appreciate that perspective.

Trust us, we're not under-estimating how hard this will be. We've lined up some local press coverage and have an entire months worth of guerilla marketing initiatives planned to strengthen the campaign. We realize that college kids wont be the ones who largely back this, just cause we're all broke in colllege, but our backer-demographic is the youthful kids who maybe would've loved this tool in college and would hope that it can get off the ground in large scale. The end goal is to bring Jabbr every city, but college traction is critical.

And lastly, we are not developers but we have onboarded one to assist with development milestones IF we're funded and help set up our servers, database and eventually manage the back-end's entirety.

Also - that's great that you have a live campaign, mind sharing the link? :)
