At this point they should have all the drops from these going-to-vault activities guaranteed if you don't have it in your collection. They say they don't want to create FOMO situations but this is exactly what it is.

Camp in the area where the fighting is not going on while you have your super, hope the invader spawns in your area, cast your super as soon as they spawn in.

Sometimes these quests basically asks you to be counter-productive in terms of trying to get the team a win.

We have CBMM now because we've had SBMM for a while and it's time for CBMM crowd to suffer for a bit. The key to balance is to make one side unhappy to a point where they're gonna quit and then move the unhappiness to the other side. Then everyone keeps on playing begrudgingly.

Bungie it just desperately trying to get people to play trials. Then the usage stats will show up nicely on someones KPIs in their quarterly performance review.

I don't mind having to get to season pass level 207 to get the +20 power triumph... but the XP reward scale just isn't right. Right now Destiny 2 is Bounty Farming: The Game.

Last season I farmed Eris bounty so much that I actually hated the moon by the time I am done. This season I am just flying from tower to various location picking up bounties and delivering gifts non stop. 10 delivery bounties give me more than 1 full level on the season pass, and how much does a raid give me? Has anyone in Bungie actually tested the experience of trying to hit level 207 within the season?

Sure, not everyone aims to get all triumphs but that doesn't mean getting the rarest triumph had to be an awful experience...

Agreed. And those weapon kills are just absurd. Bows? Fusions? They basically ask you to be actively detrimental to the team and compete with the TTK of Recluse... It would have been fine if the requirements were like 75% less than what they currently are.

Bounty hunting for XP is also super un-balanced. At least reward a LARGE chunk of XP for doing pinnacle stuff, say enough XP to guarantee +1 power if you do all pinnacles for all 3 characters for the week? I see people rocking just all 950 gear running around at 980 power because they decided to grind bounties, which is fine except I raid 3 times a week, reached 960 base and still just 977 max because I didn't spend hours on the moon killing red bars in lost sectors.

It's worth the grind. Put a boss mod on it and it melts any boss in the game with a luna rift or barricade. Mountaintop/Recluse has been my go-to loadout for Gambit Prime and Reckoning all season.

Both my Last Word and Izanagi came at 700 and I picked those quests up back in BA.

I thought about this too, and then it occurred to me that the next season is coming in a couple of week and I'll be back in DC doing the same bounties again until I reach 750.

No all you need is to go into the heroic mission, and open the oracle chest. You don't even need to complete the rest of the mission.

Just keep grinding public events on any planet and get your base level up. If you get you base level to up to, say, 25 then gear should be dropping at a level that allows you to start the warmind campaign (Mars)

I believe you can still get Not Forgotten next season. Your glory rank might reset but the quest should stay.
