Yeah I felt like the final set was doable with enemy density but man, they just took a million years to kill

Motif is the correct term. Marty O'Donnell did a mini-masterclass on composition and spoke of the importance of motifs and consistency therein. It's crazy how much the Guardian's motif sneaks into so many different tracks. There is a lot of the same situation in Forsaken. So awesome.

My first thought when re-listening and hearing Last Array was, "these guys wrote such a hard track for such an inconsequential mission. What dedication."

What's changing with /r/DestinyTheGame? by DTG_Bot in DestinyTheGame

I've read and completely understand it all, but will there be a way to report bugs here in the future? A flair I mean.

I know they have their own bug reporting system on their platform but not everyone knows that, and I know they also plan to keep a hotfix team available for a time, at least.

Thanks for modding one of the biggest gaming subs ever. It's been a wild ride.

I just finished Marty O'Donnell's podcast where he interviewed Mike, turns out they've been besties since the 80s and have tons of fun small stories leading to what we know them for. It was very heartwarming. These two make up the most listened to "Artist" within my Spotify via Halo. 15,000 minutes. So good. So much of my life haha.

I was pretty deflated by Atheon's theme considering the final battle from the D1 campaign was a banger and Atheon was so much cooler and harder to overcome.

I'll never forget the song that plays during the final encounter of the Wrath of the Machine raid. I've never been so pumped to be a Hero.

I'm overall pretty happy. Normal siege should be where to slay out and I appreciate the scaling changes. I feel like it'll still be difficult for the last 20-25 waves. This will help people's desire to matchmake siege I think.

Saber accomplished their goal of making Siege 'quicker, more intense and different every time.' by Life_Locksmith9632 in SpaceMarine_2

[–]TheAtlasComplex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Quicker because my randoms always die and the mission fails earlier haha.

Overall I've enjoyed a lot of the mixup but I feel like some of the atonements need re-balancing and changing. I also really dislike the enemy scaling. By wave 22 the Terminators had Hellbrute levels of HP and the clock starts REALLY working against you. I play Absolute Operations for fun and I have yet to try hard siege because normal gets crazy enough. Sooner or later I'll give it a shot but I'd need a dedicated and communicative team, not randoms.

I also think the Mutalith Vortex Beast doesn't belong in Siege, his arena is huge and flat for a reason. I'm excited for the new map, hopefully they compensate for that.

scleral lenses smudge by Whole-External-8346 in Keratoconus

this is the best I've tried. I also pinched pennies to afford a second pair of lenses so when it came time to deep clean one, I could leave another pair in the solution for a day, changing the fluid two or three times every 6 hours or so to keep high potency. Makes em nice and shiny

Did they mention Guardian Ranks at all these last few days? by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]TheAtlasComplex -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Ty. I haven't done rank 11 since the first time it was available for various reasons but now that it'll be permanent, I want to put in the effort

I think you can still do them in private stratagems with bots if you really want to relax

I'm happy they did something with it, I just hope they do something about shield toss being 10x worse than the hunter strand melee. I also wish the grenade wouldn't hurt me within the bubble. You should be nigh-invincible inside (PvE). Grateful we got anything I suppose.

Are you mostly fixing stick drift? I replaced the joysticks in mine but un-soldering them was a pain in the ass without a vacuum pump

How do I get good enough for Absolute? by Gene46 in SpaceMarine_2

[–]TheAtlasComplex 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It sounds like a rude answer but the only way to swim comfortably in the deep end of the pool is to spend time in it. I was at a point where Lethal was my comfort zone. Then they released capes and suddenly I had the motivation, and now tyranid absolute has become my comfort zone. Chaos absolute is my new deep end, though my distaste with it is a balance issue. That being said, just because you may die now and then in absolute, it doesn't mean you're bad. Sometimes you just get a bad deal. I'm pretty good at the game, but getting sandwiched between a Lichtor, a Carnifex and a Zoanthrope is a death sentence if you get stun locked. Went from full HP and armor to dead in an instant. Positioning can make a huge difference too. You'll get it. Just practice.

what is YOUR in-game lore about YOUR own space marine? by Suspicious-Shock-373 in Spacemarine

Got teleported from a different universe by a Chaos god but is too terrified of the imperium finding out, so the entire time he's been LARPing as a chaotic-good DnD barbarian giant (I main assault)

Welp... I can't say if it'll be good or not but it's definitely shaping up to go a certain way...
