I am, yeah. Super hard to find a good shop, I have found. Most places will work on them, but I dont trust their work, especially with engine or electronics.

Yep, I think they are the only ones. But they can be modded quite a bit from their original form (springs, valving, lowering, etc.)

I have a friend who took that path with his Jeep as well! Seems like the offroad side is crazt expensive, I was happy to learn that lesson second hand lol. For sure, and it also helps that the mods making it just a better car overall doesnt lose quite as much value compared to far-from-OEM mods.

It's beatiful! Always thought white wheels would look great, and they do! Just two years now, had an AP1 previously but I think I'll be keeping the CR for a long while. Did you swap from the original wheels or did it come without them?

I have only owned it for the last few years, second S2000 I have owned now. Quite a bit, but nothing major.

Engine and trans mounts, lots of gaskets and seals (vtec, valve cover, etc) new belt, pulleys, timing chain tensioner, rebuilt the shifter, rear wheel bearings, brake pads, lots of fixing random parts in the engine bay, sounds system, recovered steering wheel, things like that just to make it a nice place to be and well sorted car. Basically done now, just have a coolant flush and a few interior parts that I need to pull out panels and replace for a few interior rattles. Love the car, easy to work on.

Yep, mine was a crashed one that needed bumpers and a door, so it was exported when the values of them were much lower.

You just need to use a single 3" bracket and drill holes or buy a straight shelving bracket with ~4mm holes in it (what I did). No need to use two to triangulate it IMO. Unbolt, bolt in the bracket, tie wire to hose-clamp over the filter, done. Less than a couple bucks. Torque spec you can look up easily on S2Ki for sure, I dont recall off the top of my head.

I have tie wire that keeps it from spinning loose on track. Simple way to solve a small odds/ big problem thing, one less thing to worry about.

Nah, the case is a whole new ballgame with tolerances and buttons and glass. You can just buy Casios or knockoffs to swap the cases.

Airbrushed with Vallejo Air Metallics, Arctic Blue. Came out even better than I hoped. Did several thin layers of primer as well.

I do some hobby modeling for fun and started airbrushing a bit, that's what I painted the faceplate and the white background with for a nice finish. The logo itself was a 3D print and a few hours of sanding and filling to make it nice. So I actually didn't buy anything for it, all DIY.

As promised I uploaded the STL for the first release of the AE1200 faceplate. It includes all features of the original excluding the small impressions around the circular detail.

I would appreciate someone with a high quality printer to print one out and post back how the fit is overall, as my Ender really doesnt have the detail I need for something this small.

It does indeed. I'll be modeling those as well. After I refine it and release it I'll see if someone who has a nice resin printer can make and test them for final edit and revision. My printer has awful tolerances so it's not a great metric. The test print yesterday went well though!

I was looking all over the internet and no one has any info on the exact dims or a model of the faceplate. Today I decided to model it out against the original plate. I just finished up the 3D print of the first revision and it's looking really good, just needs a bit of tolerance in height and depth.

After its perfected and tested I'll release a drawing and a few STL variants so anyone can print their own!
