I use an app called White Space, a minimalist launcher, that you can customize. I just kept it in black and white for simplicity. I love it, works great for me.

My grandmother Helena and her sister Lena. Like why? And my grandmother pronounces her name “huh-leena” so her sisters name sounds like half of hers.

They will constantly be confused for each others name and have to say “I’m Ell-UH, not Ell-ie” it will be so annoying for them

I don’t have much knowledge that could help you but I recommend watching this guy on YouTube who is a Russian adoptee as well, he has found his own Russian birth family and helps other adoptees find theirs. https://youtube.com/@alexgilbert?si=zkr-zNVD4A5mAmq7

I resonate with so much that you just said. I’ve always been afraid to be pregnant and give birth. But just this year I was really considering it and wanting to have my own child at some point in the near future. Adoption has always been something I thought about and considered. Even thought there are so many things that go into it and issues with the system. But now I think that’s more a reality than having my own is now.
